Atlas Power Coffee Limited is a New Zealand owned and operated roasting company. It all began in 1995 when Canadian born Mark Hillis purchased the very popular Atlas Power Café located in Auckland’s Ponsonby Road. Mark’s love of coffee and the demand for fresh, locally roasted coffee beans provided the momentum to install a 5kg Yucel roaster on the café premises. By 2000, the popularity of the freshly roasted Atlas brand forced Atlas Power Coffee to relocate to Albany where a new 25kg Probat roaster was installed.Yearly the business continues to expand and now employs several staff including Mark’s wife Gayle. Our Mission Statement is to carry out business in an environment of integrity. We strive to forge strong supportive business relationships by providing the best in product, Barista training and technical service.
Our aim is to work in partnerships with our customers where discussions and a commitment to sharing information and knowledge lead to an understanding of their needs as well as a coffee product that best suits their business. We form partnerships with people who share our passion for coffee, and suppliers who value excellence. This business philosophy builds a learning environment and a bond of confidence and trust.
